About Me
Originally from NYC and currently residing in Chicago. It’s been quite an adventurous road. Here are some fun facts about me.
- I received my PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Decision Sciences and Engineering Systems. My dissertation topic was, “Modeling the Diffusion of Information in Dynamic Social and Communication Networks.”
- I have a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science and M.Eng. in Operations Research and Statistics.
- I was a researcher at Rutgers University working on various projects including: modeling stadium evacuations, security planning and assessment for sports venues, modeling of patron screening, and evaluating the impact of security measures on urban commerce. Here are some of my publications.
- I am a graduate of the Northwestern Data Science Bootcamp Certificate Program.
- I was a college professor. I taught statistics to engineers.
- I went to circus school. I completed the full time training program at Aloft Circus Arts in Chicago where I studied aerial arts, contortion, handstands, dance, clowning and more.
- I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, and Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified.
- I am a licensed massage therapist in Illinois, specializing manual therapy and clinical massage.
- I was a brand ambassador for Nike and participated in various activations held in Chicago as well as the opening of the Jordan store. It was a nice exposure to the world of experiential marketing.
- I love animals! I am a proud cat mom and dog mom.
- I love gardening and plants. I have been experimenting with hydroponics.
- I am a fan of professional wrestling! It’s creative, athletic, and entertaining.
